McKinsey & Company First Year Summer Business Analyst

June 2022 - August 2022

As a first year summer intern at McKinsey, I worked on a risk management engagement within the social sector practice with an engagement manager based out of the Washington DC office. I also worked on a client development engagement in the Global Energy and Minerals practice with the engagement manager based out of New Delhi, India and the associate partner on the project out of the Brussels, Belgium office. For me this meant really early morning meetings, but also an awesome opportunity to meet and work with people from all around the work as the associates on the study hailed from: Poland, Brazil, Ireland, and France. During this program, I also got to meet and network with some really impressive people and some other interns who were at a completely different stage of their lives. I met veterans who had served in the military of over 12 years, I met a former NFL player who was currently earning his MBA from Harvard Business School, I even met a former NASA astrophysicist, all of which were also interns in the Miami Office. The undergraduate interns were equally impressive and ended up becoming friends that I'm still in contact with and look forward to seeing again this summer as I return to the firm as a sophomore summer business analyst.
